This is my favorite of the Playing through the Seasons series. Fall is my favorite season and Essie Bell captured so many of Fall's amazing gifts! A fun Fall experience for the little ones. My four year old granddaughter especially loved hearing the engaging activities throughout the book.

This is the fourth one in the series and just as lovely as the previous three! Bell manages to create playful situations which simply make you want to join in! This book focuses on activities which are pertinent to fall - raking leaves and playing in them, collecting fruit and veg, making cookies and cakes....
I particularly love Bell's approach to inclusivity - each book has different protagonists and they clearly focus on including different groups!

I love creating little traditions with my kiddos and this is the perfect read to start the fall season. It gets you excited for all to come, the fall colors, pumpkin patch visits, baking, etc. I am so excited to find that she has books for all of the seasons. I need to buy those too! :)
